Jim and Eileen Clark, owners of Southcombe Farm, welcome you to this site and thank you for your interest. It gives us great pleasure to tell you about Southcombe and to assure you of a warm welcome and a comfortable stay should you decide to visit us.
The farm was purchased 1998 and in 2007 our old barn was restored and converted for quality self catering holiday accommodation. The farm too has been revitalised by way of important wildlife and conservation projects with Devon Wildlife Trust and DEFRA. Southcombe is also a small, but very successful thoroughbred stud farm with a small number working broodmares whose offspring are destined for the racetrack.
We believe that we have achieved our goal of providing quality accommodation against a background of beauty and tranquillity as opposed to the conventional resort based setting.
To enjoy the above you do not have to sacrifice convenience, as Southcombe is only a mile from the delightful old market town of Holsworthy and 10 miles from Bude. This makes Southcombe an ideal base from which to explore both Devon and Cornwall.
